Kayla Wilkins, AuD

Aspire Hearing & Balance

Kayla Wilkins, Au.D. is the Owner and Audiologist of Aspire Hearing & Balance. Dr. Wilkins started her private practice in 2017 in Lakeland, Florida and specializes in adult hearing aids, cochlear implants, osseo-integrated devices, and tinnitus management. She was awarded her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of South Florida. Dr. Wilkins completed her clinical residency at Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance Center in Tampa, FL. Upon graduation, Dr. Wilkins joined the team at Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance Center where she continued to work for four more years with world-class otologist, neurotologist, and skull based surgeons. She has received a comprehensive education in the areas of assessment and treatment of all populations with hearing and balance issues. Raised in Plant City, FL, she is married and has two beautiful children, Colton (6) and Callie (2). She is a big dog lover and has a fur baby Corgi named Cody. She enjoys spending time with her family, hunting, fishing, and cheering on her USF Bulls in football.

Kelley Linton, AuD, LTC, US Army Public Health Center

Center for Hearing / Center for Industrial Audiometrics

Dr. Kelley Linton is the owner/founder of Center for Hearing and Balance, a private practice audiology clinic she started in 1998 in Fort Smith, AR. She is also the owner/founder of Center for Industrial Audiometrics, a private hearing conservation and industrial audiology practice which provides on-site hearing conservation services, consultation services and subject matter expert services. She earned her Doctor of Audiology Degree at the University of Florida, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) in the United States Army Reserve, Member of the National Hearing Conservation Association, Adjunct Professor at the University of Arkansas Medical School, CAOHC Certified Course Director, CAOHC Certified Professional Supervisor, and a Consulting Audiologist with Kennedy Space Center, NASA. She is also a medical mission team member for 15 years in Peru and Honduras.

Emily McMahan, AuD

Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center / Feedback Audiology Solutions & Consulting

Dr. Emily McMahan attended the University of Cincinnati where she received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She furthered her professional education by obtaining her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in 2013. Dr. McMahan has been practicing in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Alaska since her graduation. She has been a private practice owner for the past 7 years. Practicing in the Last Frontier has provided many opportunities for out of the box audiology services. She is also the founder of Feedback Audiology Solutions and Consulting. Feedback is to help other professionals in practice management, tinnitus marketing and techniques, telehealth, team building, and billing & credentialing services. Dr. McMahan is a commissioned officer for the Mayor’s Senior Advisory Commission helping to protect the aging population and existing seniors in AK. She has shown her community a positive approach to hearing healthcare and has been repeatedly recognized as a top provider.  She is Certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology and she holds ABA certificates in both Tinnitus Management and Audiology Preceptor. Volunteering to further the profession of Audiology is an important aspect of her career. Regularly hosting Audiology students is an honor of her private practice as shaping future colleagues is a privilege. She has held the following board position with Audiology Practice Standards Organization: Past Treasurer, Current Vice President, and current 2022, President.

Rachel Garcia, HIS

Advanced Hearing and Balance Center

Rachel Garcia became a certified medical claims and billing specialist after completing a 2-years training program in 2003. She also co-owns a multi-location private-audiology practice and recently began practicing as a licensed hearing instrument specialist in the Dallas, Texas area. She has worked alongside a number of audiologists over the past 26 years in the audiology field. She continues to train and oversee an in-house billing team that specializes in credentialing, contract negotiations, insurance verification, and billing audiological services for a busy practice that provides hearing and vestibular services with 4 audiologists. She has experience working with commercial insurance, workers compensation carriers, third party administrators (YHN, TruHearing, Amplifon, and UHC Hearing), and direct contract with TriWest servicing referrals with the community care network for the VA. She has a passion for helping patients seek the services they deserve while minimizing the company’s risk and patient out-of-pocket expenses.
